Wild Turkeys: Russell Family Tasting & Barrel Pick
Join us for an unforgettable night at the Frazier, where three generations of Bourbon mastery come together for a once-in-a-lifetime tasting and storytelling experience. This immersive event blends the artistry of bourbon making with the soul of family tradition, culminating in a private barrel selection from the world-famous Camp Nelson F Rickhouse—home to some of the most sought-after Wild Turkey barrels ever produced.
Third-generation whiskey maker Bruce Russell will lead tastings of premium Wild Turkey and Russell’s Reserve Bourbons while sharing stories of his grandfather, Jimmy Russell, who first stepped foot in the distillery in 1954 and his father, Eddie Russell, who worked at Wild Turkey for 34 years before becoming master distiller. Every guest will experience a taste of time, tradition, and the Wild Turkey way before having the option to purchase a bottle of the Russell’s - Camp Nelson F private barrel selection. Live a little, come have a taste!
Michter's Speakeasy
Listen up you Dappers and Dames, we’re going back to the Roaring Twenties—when all the best parties in town were underground! It’s time to get dolled up to get your wiggle on at the Frazier History Museum as we kick off Bourbon Heritage Month with a Great Gatsby themed Michter’s Speakeasy. Guests will enjoy live toe-tappin’ music from the 20’s, Gatsby themed welcome cocktails, and exclusive tastings led by Michter’s Bourbon brass. Toss in dance lessons, roaring 20’s hair and makeup, and a mug-shot photo op, and this wingding is sure to send you over the moon. Live a little, come have a taste!
Mary Dowling Tasting & Literary Experience

Join us as we look back at a remarkable chapter in Kentucky history and launch the new Mary Dowling biography, Mother of Bourbon. At this special tasting and literary experience, you’ll learn about Mary’s audacious defiance of Prohibition—while sampling the whiskeys inspired by her daring legacy.
Michter's Speakeasy
Step into an era of opulence and clandestine revelry and kick off Bourbon Heritage Month at Michter’s Speakeasy, a Prohibition-Era party, at the Frazier History Museum. On September 5 from 7 - 9:30pm, let us whisk you away to the intoxicating world of the Roaring Twenties, where the giggle water flows as freely as the Charleston.
Father’s Day with Fred & Freddie Noe from James B Beam Distillery
Experience the rich flavors of James B Beam and legacy of the First Family of Bourbon at the Frazier on June 11th.
In a prelude to Father’s Day, Fred and Freddie Noe will take you on an adventure telling legendary tales about the eight generations that have made up James B Beam and what it means to Fred to pass the master distiller torch to Freddie. This event wouldn’t be complete without Fred and Freddie leading a guided tasting of James B Beam’s best Bourbons – including Frazier’s Knob Creek Single Barrel – and exquisite food from The Kitchen Table, Beam’s new Clermont restaurant.

Unfiltered Truth: Black Americans in Bourbon
Learn the incredible stories of Black Americans in the Bourbon industry throughout Kentucky’s history. Frazier Teaching Artist Brian West leads guest through a bourbon tasting/cultural experience that highlights the lives of five important Black Kentuckians who have made the industry what it is today: Elmer Lucille Allen, Freddie Johnson, and Brough Brothers.
