Planned Giving

The Frazier History Museum’s Legacy Society is a donor organization comprised of individuals who share a passion for the Frazier’s commitment to preserving the history of Kentucky, providing ongoing access to education and learning, and ensuring our cultural heritage is passed on to future generations.

We are grateful to those who choose to express a lasting and meaningful commitment to our mission by making a planned gift or making provisions for the Frazier in their estate plans. In addition to the financial and tax benefit opportunities for you and your family, planned giving is a way to provide for the future of the Frazier History Museum, as well as the people and communities we serve.

Through effective planned giving, you can:

  • Make a future impact while retaining income during your lifetime.

  • Defer, reduce, or eliminate capital gains taxes

  • Create a charitable income tax deduction

  • Reduce or eliminate estate, gift, or generation-skipping taxes

  • Make a larger charitable gift than you thought possible

  • Leave a legacy while retaining assets

Members of the Legacy Society enjoy the following benefits:

  • Annual acknowledgement in impact reports

  • Exclusive Frazier Museum communication

  • The satisfaction of knowing you are a part of our continued growth and vitality

There are several types of planned gifts, all of which are mutually beneficial to the donor and the museum.

To become a valued member of the Frazier’s Legacy Society, we invite you to notify us that you have included the Frazier History Museum in your estate planning.

In doing so, you will join our close circle of friends invested in our mission.

We suggest you consult your financial advisor before making a decision about a planned gift. For more information, please contact Hayley Harlow at hharlow@fraziermuseum.org.

On behalf of our Board and Staff, thank you for your consideration of the Frazier Museum.
