America250 Homeschool Day

Time: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (drop in style) 
Cost: $11 per student / one free adult per family / free for 4 and under  (must have one paid participant per family)  

This year marks 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Join us for a day of fun and learning as you explore not two, not three, but four America250 inspired exhibitions – as well as a selection of themed craft and activity tables, prize drawings, and gallery investigations. 

In addition, families will have several opportunities to experience one of our newest educational presentations, “Early America Through Music”. This 25-minute presentation shares the stories and sounds behind four iconically American songs including The Star-Spangled Banner, America the Beautiful, and more!

This program is suited for all ages and runs drop-in style, so feel free to come by any time that works best for your family. Families are welcome to bring a snack or lunch to enjoy in the museum’s 1st floor lunchroom or Gateway Garden.
