Join us Saturday, September 13, for a free family celebration as we welcome and open the fifth annual Aflora exhibition at the Frazier History Museum.
This is a partnership between La Casita Center and the Frazier History Museum.
Aflora honors Latinx creativity and the communities that make it flourish, inspired by the words, “They tried to bury us; they didn’t know we were seeds.”
This year’s exhibition uplifts powerful works of more than a dozen Latinx artists, their art born in resistance and rooted in hope.
Celebrate with us September 13, opening day of Aflora and our free family day celebration with music, dance, food, and community from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The Aflora exhibition will be on view at the Frazier History Museum from September 13, 2025, through March 2026.
This project is supported with funding from the Kentucky Historical Society.
