Led by Bourbon Icon Bernie Lubbers, aka The Whiskey Professor, and Bluegrass Legend Steve Cooley, this live experience brings Kentucky’s native spirit to life—literally. As stories of Bourbon’s past unfold, they’re paired with iconic Kentucky whiskeys and live renditions of the music that shaped a culture—from Bill Monroe to Merle Travis to Billy Strings.

Hear it. Taste it. Feel it.

Live music. Legendary instruments. Historic spirits.

It’s not just a tasting—it’s a multi-sensory celebration of Kentucky’s roots.

Only in Kentucky. Only in Louisville. Only at the Frazier History Museum.

Bernie Lubbers

Whiskey Professor Logo

Known as “The Whiskey Professor,” Bernie Lubbers is a Louisville native, former (still got it) national stand-up comic, and one of Bourbon’s most respected ambassadors. After touring the country for two decades, and countless appearances on the Bob & Tom Show, Bernie joined Jim Beam in 2005 working alongside Bourbon Icon Fred Noe, and in 2012 he joined Heaven Hill working with the Legendary Parker Beam. Today, he serves as Heaven Hill’s Global Whiskey Ambassador Emeritus and is credited by Fred Minnick, Garden & Gun Magazine and others with reviving Bottled in Bond whiskey.

Steve Cooley

A true Bluegrass icon, Steve Cooley has been performing professionally since the 1970s. Best known for his 18-year run with The Dillards(a.k.a. The Darlings from The Andy Griffith Show), he’s earned four Grammy nominations and shared many iconic stages with greats like Grandpa Jones, Bill Monroe, Sam Bush and others. His impact, and lasting impression lives on through the Steve Cooley Bluegrass & Banjo Scholarship at Morehead State University.
