Located throughout the Frazier
Through additive labels and audio entries, guests can experience self-guided and guided tours highlighting objects and stories in our permanent galleries. Each area in our permanent exhibitions will have a special icon that indicates it’s part of the 250th anniversary tour. Examples include a rare rifle that belonged to George Washington, a Brown Bess rifle, Revolutionary era historic miniature soldiers, an R.C. Anderson portrait in The Commonwealth, Thomas Jefferson in The Lewis & Clark Experience, Revolutionary War veterans’ stories in 120: Cool KY Counties, and a sword that belonged to Josiah Bartlett, a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
Still can’t get enough of America 250? Listen to the Frazier’s podcast Kentucky Wide. Now in its second season, Kentucky Wide matches rich storytelling with our passion for sharing the stories of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. We focus on moments, people, and objects that tie Kentucky to the moments and ideals of America’s founding 250 years ago. Learn more and subscribe now!
