120: Cool KY Counties Open House
The Frazier History Museum strongly believes that every county possesses a unique and incredible story deserving to be shared with the rest of Kentucky (and beyond). Premised on this conviction, the 120: Cool KY Counties project has collected hundreds of stories from across the Commonwealth—including histories, legends, and oral traditions curated at the local level. As an addition to our immensely popular Cool Kentucky exhibition, we believe that by sharing these “hidden stories,” we will be able to encourage empathy, promote exploration, cultivate mutual respect, and bridge divides on the basis of Kentucky's extraordinary history and heritage.
Lights on Main Opening Party
Step into a magical winter wonderland with I Would Rather be Reading and the Frazier History Museum’s Lights on Main exhibition, open through January 8! The museum will be transformed into an enchanted holiday forest with sponsored trees beautifully decorated by local businesses, organizations, families, and individuals.
Awards will be presented this evening for those voted Most Lou Spirit, Best Company Branding, Most Festive, and Most Unique.

Spirited Design Opening Party
On November 29th Brown-Forman and the Frazier History Museum are throwing a kickoff party to celebrate a special new holiday exhibition, Spirited Design: Old Forester’s Mid-Century Decanters. This exhibition is the full collection of Old Forester decanters, packaging, and advertising together for the first time. It takes you behind the scenes to learn about the designers and processes that brought these designs to life.
The 150th Anniversary Old Forester decanter will also be on display in Spirited Design. One fortunate individual will win the right to purchase one of these limited edition bottles.
We will also have two bottles of Old Forester Birthday Bourbon that will be a part of the drawing and two individuals will win the right to purchase one bottle.
Come experience Old Forester and the Frazier unlike ever before at this exclusive event.
Doors Open: 6:15 p.m.
Program: 6:30–8:30 p.m.
