The Frazier History Museum brings visitors face-to-face with world-famous figures and events that shaped the course of human history, but also with many ordinary folks whose stories you’ve probably never heard.

Every day our staff leads broad tours of exhibits as well as focused looks into some of the most interesting objects in our collection. You’ll find fascinating stories and enlightening moments as we shine a light on people from the Bluegrass State and beyond. From inventor Garrett Morgan to adventurer Tori Murden-McClure to The Lincolns to the world-champion Kentucky Colonels, there is something for everybody – and surprises for all.

Tours are scheduled multiple times a day and last 15-25 minutes. Don’t miss one while you’re here!

Story Times

Families are encouraged to join us for our Story Time offerings during the summer and other seasons when school is out. Our engaging educators will share a favorite story in our Brown Forman Theatre which will connect to the galleries you’ll see on your visit.

The Great Louisville Hunt

Cost: $35 per family or group / $30 members

The Great Louisville Hunt will make the city your museum. Get out of the house and learn about the city in a fun, surprising, and safe new way! Your family will hop in the car, and using a fun audio download and supplemental booklet, we’ll direct you to some places you know and some places you will discover around Louisville, with a challenge or two to complete at every stop. Whether you’re looking for family fun, an adventure with your friends, or a new kind of date night, this traveling scavenger hunt is an experience to remember.
