The carpet in our Civil War gallery was custom-made to resemble the carpet one might have seen in an 1860s-era home.

In conjunction with Light Up Louisville, the Frazier History Museum is offering half off all admission tickets to the museum– including the “Diana” exhibition, “Top Drawer” and all permanent galleries– from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.on this day. This is also the very first day of the 2012 “Holidays Around the World,” so be among the first to see this year’s stunning display of festive trees!
