During a hunt in 1902, President Theodore Roosevelt refused to kill a Black Bear. After political cartoons depicting the incident were published, toy-makers started creating “Teddy Bears.”

Get ready to take a journey through over 1,000 years of history!

Admission to the Frazier Museum includes all daily historic interpretation performances and access to our permanent galleries and temporary exhibitions, as well as frequent hands-on activities and “touch carts.”
